HIM: intervista esclusiva con Ville Valo - prima parte

him_ville_valo_mige_amour_paolo_bianco_2007.jpg Come potete vedere dalla foto, ieri sono riuscito a beccare Ville Valo e Mige Amour a Milano, prima della loro partecipazione a TRL di MTV. Li ho intervistati e alla fine son anche riuscito a farmi uno scatto assieme a loro. Per festeggiare l'avvenimento, vi offro la registrazione dell'intervista telefonica con Ville Valo che avevo fatto a metà Luglio, prima che il nuovo cd Venus Doom uscisse, quando ancora non esistevano informazioni riguardo al nuovo lavoro. Una intervista quasi estemporanea che poi non ha trovato luogo per la pubblicazione. Godetevi quindi i miei scambi (in inglese) con il cantante finlandese, divisi in tre spezzoni.
NB: questa intervista ha avuto luogo in Luglio e non sarà mai pubblicata da nessuna parte se non su questo blog; l'intervista di ieri, dopo la quale ho scattato questa foto "autocelebrativa", sarà pubblicata sul numero di metà Ottobre di Metal Shock.VILLE VALO phoner interview, July 2007.

It's quite interesting and worth emphasising that HIM serves as a bridge for the generation gap. Their fans are usually teenagers (mostly so to say) and the guys are bringing the music they grew up with for those who supposedly know nothing about the bands from 70's and 80's. Good job HIM and thanks for educating 'pop generation'. Hopefully, they will use this knowledge when they decide to create their own music.
