MANOWAR: an exclusive interview with Joey DeMaio (english audio)

manowar_joey_paolo_bianco.jpg This phone-interview with Manowar's bass player Joey DeMaio was set up earlier this year as an exclusive for Italy for the cover of Metal Shock magazine. Unfortunately, the 20-year-running magazine came to a sudden halt and the interview was left unpublished. I think now it's the time to share it with the world, after all the themes touched in the 20-minute chat are still very valid: the eternal question if heavy metal is better than pussy, the position of Manowar in the Guinness World Of Records book, fears of becoming deaf, and of course the Magic Circle Festival in Germany, which Joey invites everyone to attend.
